Indian cricket team exit the world cup battle at very early stage . I had never imagined that people of India will react so vociferously. people burnt effigies of coach , players , BCCI and many more things they did . These were the same people who had praised indian team too much before a week of starting of world cup. corporate world bet in indian team by investing a lot of money. They believed that India is going to win the world cup and once India was out of world cup people talked very openly to media about current hopeless indian team. I think these people are instigated by the media . Media makes kheer if u give only rice to them. And I believe that indian media is totally responsbile for
unnecessary protests and demontrations . I think if indian media covers more important issues of India then India will be able to compete with develpod nations.
Currently I was watching one news channel which was covering of shilpa-richard kissing issues for long time. I am wondering on these very minor issues media creates hue and cry . Unemployment in country provides enough people to get ready to involved in making protests on these issueless issues. If shilpa does not have problem why other people will care for this. Infact shilpa is gaining from this. She is getting a lot of free publicity.People should never let give free publicity to celebrities. If people are protesting on the basis of ” against the indian culture” then they are wrong. They are a lot of important issues in the country. Just look at the pathetic infrastructure , education system of India . They need much more attention from media and people.
Just look at the quota issue in IITs and IIMs. I am waiting for IIMs results which are put on hold by government. HRD minisrty is not active at all and they can not understand the people’s pain. I feel very bad for those people who are waiting for IIMs results and deposited a big lumpsum money as fee in other institues due to last date of fee submission. They can not wait and watch this qouta issue . If they will get through IIMs and opt for IIMs study they are going to loose a lot of money. But very few people are bothered about it and even u have to wait and watch TV for long time to get this news on TV channel.I think it’s much more important issues than richard gere issue. but how many people care about it ? very few huh ? Indian audiences are very sensitive and quite driven by media news.Unemployment and poverty is contributing factors. I respect people’s sentiments but people’s sentiments should be used for constructive work and for betterment of society .
